Un nuevo método de aplicación y un razonamiento clínico diferente comparado con otros tipos de vendajes son la base de la técnica de Taping NeuroMuscular. Su utilidad se extiende a los diferentes postoperatorios, al manejo del linfedema, etc. Con trazos claros y didácticos, la enseñanza de la técnica comienza con la anatomía topográfica y funcional: planos del cuerpo, posiciones anatómicas, inserciones musculares, funciones de los músculos, sistemas vascular, linfático y nervioso, posiciones y movimientos del cuerpo.
